While The Transit System, Inc. operates similarly to a taxi service, it is important to clarify that we are not a taxi service itself. However, we do offer transportation services with certain guidelines and considerations:

• For Saturday trips, it is necessary to prearrange them in advance, both for the outbound and return journeys. Please be aware that our dispatch and call center is closed on Saturdays.
• Same-day service is available based on the availability of resources.
• We operate on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure fairness and efficiency.
• Trips outside our regular hours of operation are also available, providing flexibility in meeting your transportation needs.

• Zone 1 - Up to 4 miles beyond city limits
• One way - $6.00
• Before 7 am or after 6 pm - $10.00
• Zone 2 - Remainder of Somervell County
• One way - $8.00
• Before 7 am or after 6 pm - $12.00
